Wednesday July 3rd, we held our monthly meeting and 82 people showed up. I presented a recap of last month’s activities, metal detecting, and our outing to the BB 1 claim, which apparently no one made it up to. I only heard of one member trying to find it with limited success. I put it to the membership what they wanted for food at the annual picnic and it was evenly split between Hambugers & Hot dogs, Street Tacos or Tri Tip. Even though the vote was equal, the pro tri tippers were also more vocal. We concluded with the monthly raffles and the announcement of the next Quarterly raffle prize which will be either a Minelab Equinox 800 or possibly 900.
