To All Treasure Seeker Members:

Treasure Seekers of San Diego will be holding their monthly Metal Detecting Outing, Sunday, June 5th, 2011 at 7:00 AM at Oceanside Pier – South side. Parking lot is next to the beach.

I just scouted the beach and the soft sand area has been reduced by the high tides. The playground is fenced off. People were starting to come (noon Fri). I think it’ll be good as there will be a minus tide @ 7AM off a pretty high tide.

Parking at the lot is $1 per hour or $5 for the day.

People are starting to come to the beach and so are the detectorists. The weather will be great for the beach goers (and thusly detecting).
